Natural Neon Leaves

After posting about the natural neon trend I wanted to produce a design using the colour theme. I chose to illustrate tropical leaves as I felt that they would work well with this bright and tropical colour way. The leaves were all drawn us different techniques and captured different movements of the object. I wanted to develop my skills in photoshop and use my new scanner to produce a digital surface design. So after scanning the images in I developed the colours using the natural neon trend and the began to arrange into a block pattern. Overall pleased with the final result, and personally I felt that the pattern would work great on fashion garments for this summer season!
